Introduction

A regenerating summer getaway combining yoga, meditation and exploration of one of the most beautiful coastlines in France!

Brittany has always held a special place in my heart. I spent countless vacations there, in my father's region, enjoying the wild ocean, the steep cliffs, the customs officers' trails, the typical stone houses and the warm welcome of the locals. Organizing a retreat in this region is for me a way of sharing this link with you: the opportunity to experience a summer week punctuated by mild weather, ocean swimming, breathtaking coastal walks, picturesque villages, and a unique atmosphere that naturally invites you to slow down.

This yoga retreat aims to offer you a break from the daily rhythm, in order to reconnect with nature and the natural rhythm of your body. It is an invitation to live mindfully for a week. Through daily meditation sessions and morning and evening yoga practices, you will have the space to refocus, practice with intention, and observe how small adjustments can be transformed into a deeper sense of balance.

In addition to yoga, you will explore the region (South Finistère), enjoy nutritious vegetarian meals prepared with local produce, and enjoy free time to rest, read, swim in the ocean, or simply do what you need the most. This retreat was imagined as a path to more calm, clarity and renewed energy — to leave feeling lighter, revitalized, and maybe - you too - in love with Brittany!

The program offers consistency and resourcing. Each morning we start the day with a 2-hour yoga practice combining meditation, pranayama, asanas, mantras and relaxation — in order to start the day with body and mind in alignment. After the practice, we meet around a nourishing brunch prepared by our private chef, before enjoying a free time to rest at home, enjoy the garden, stroll in the village of Plomeur or go to the beach (5/10 minutes away by car). Every other day, one Mid-afternoon activity will be offered to help you discover the region, whether it is a hike on the coast, a visit to a local site or an introduction to surfing. At the end of the afternoon, we will alternate between a gentler yoga session and targeted workshops designed to deepen certain aspects of your practice. In the evening, we will share dinner at the cottage and end the day with a sharing circle or optional group discussion/activity in all simplicity.

Based in Brussels, elsa aka Yogazaz, is a passionate yogi who teaches practitioners of all levels, with an emphasis on inclusiveness in her classes, regardless of the physical, gender, age, or background of the participants.

Certified in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, “Restorative” Yoga, and specifically in pre/postnatal and menopause, Elsa always makes sure to create a welcoming environment for everyone in her classes. Her teaching focuses on breathing, mindfulness, interoception, deep muscle engagement, alignment, and joint mobility.

She encourages everyone to explore and celebrate their own practice. Her approach combines curiosity and caring, offering a space where students feel supported and challenged at the same time. With a background in theater and dance and a passion for conscious movement, Elsa will guide you to develop a deeper connection with yourself — on the carpet and beyond.

Lieu

Our meals will be lovingly prepared by Corinne, our private chef originally from Brittany. Passionate cook and expert in Permaculture, it grows its own products according to sustainable principles. Throughout the week she will bring ingredients freshly harvested directly from his vegetable garden, which she will transform into nutritious vegetarian dishes, both local and environmentally friendly. Her food is tasty and deeply comforting — it will keep you energized during the week. You won't be disappointed with her recipes created with care, creativity and lots of love!

Logement

We will stay in theThe charming cottage “Le Presbytère” de Plomeur”, a beautifully renovated former presbytery in the heart of Pays Bigouden, in The village of Plomeur. Full of character and history, the house offers a warm and welcoming space for groups.

The cottage has 5 bedrooms (1 triple bedroom and 4 twin rooms), 2 bathrooms (1 bath, 2 showers) and 3 toilets. There is a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor and outdoor dining room, a comfortable living room, and a practice room under the roof for our yoga sessions and workshops (which can also take place in the garden if the weather is mild!).

Outside, a large garden offers quiet corners between the apple trees, the kiwi tree and the small stream — ideal for sitting and relaxing.

The price per person is €1050 for the whole week. Please find below what is included — and not included — in the package.

Comment s'y rendre

  • Participants are expected between 16:00 and 19:00 at the latest on Saturday 11/7, to arrive in time for dinner and to check in on the first evening.
  • Option 1 to get to Plomeur from Brussels or elsewhere in Belgium/France: by car. Participants will be put in contact before the retreat to organize carpooling if they wish.
  • THEOption 2 is to take the train (for example from Brussels-Midi to Paris Gare du Nord, then from Paris Gare Montparnasse to Quimper). Route of 26 minutes by car from Quimper to Plomeur).

The retreat ends on Saturday 18/7 in the morning, to allow everyone to make the return trip safely.
