Practice with awareness, evolve with kindness

About Elsa

Elsa is the founder of YOGAZAZ and the yoga retreats associated with it.

She discovered Yoga during an internship in Ethiopia in 2011. She is immediately touched by this practice, which allows her to reconnect with her body, to move freely and to breathe consciously.

But it was in 2019, during her first Vinyasa Yoga teacher training (200 hours), that she fully discovered the depth and true meaning of the word “Yoga”. This training transformed his understanding of yogic philosophy, of its benefits on the body and the spirit — and marked a turning point in his vision of the world and of the Self.

Yoga as a path of transformation

Meditation and yoga practice have helped Elsa through several traumas and life transitions. Teaching Yoga has thus become a passion, a way to connect with other humans, to learn and transmit what she has learned. Her intention is to offer her students concrete tools to get through difficult periods of life with more inner stability, in order to develop a more harmonious relationship with their body and spirit.

An inclusive and conscious approach

Each body is unique. So is each course.

Based on this observation, Elsa has developed her teaching approach to adapt to the different levels, ages and experiences of her students, so that everyone can practice safely and at their own pace.

In her lessons, Elsa accompanies each student with clarity and kindness, by offering variations, adjustments and precise guidelines. Her approach is based on the need to create a safe, respectful and inclusive environment, where everyone can explore their abilities and develop a more conscious relationship with themselves.Rather than looking for the “perfect” performance or posture, each student is invited to develop a fine listening to their body in the present moment in order to adapt their practice. This somatic consciousness (interoception) becomes a valuable tool for better understanding each other, adjusting one's effort and cultivating a sustainable balance.

In the same spirit, the respiration And the meditation also occupy a central place in its courses. These tools help regulate the nervous system, calm the mind, and cultivate concentration and presence. By combining movement, breathing and mindfulness, The practice of Yoga according to the Yogazaz approach thus becomes a meditation in movement that promotes the link and harmony between body and mind.

Supporting women through the cycles of life

Finally, yoga is a way for Elsa to honor feminine power and the Yin energy that flows in and around us.

Trained in pre and postnatal yoga in 2021, then in Yoga for Menopause in 2023, she accompanies women through major transition periods: pregnancy, postpartum, menopause. Her approach aims to allow everyone to experience these passages with greater serenity, awareness and self-confidence.
