Join us for a week-long immersion into the heart of yoga in the peaceful and unspoiled setting of Thermi, on the island of Lesvos. Led by two passionate and experienced teachers — Léo from Gati Yoga and Elsa from YOGAZAZ — this retreat is an invitation to go beyond your regular yoga practice and explore meditation, pranayama (breathwork), yogic philosophy, and other aspects of yoga such as mudras, mantras, and kriyas in greater depth.
Throughout the week, you will experience a wide variety of yoga styles — Hatha, Vinyasa, Rocket, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Yin, Nidra, and more — all taught through an accessible and educational approach.
Originally from Thessaloniki and now based in Brussels, Elsa has been teaching a range of yoga practices for several years, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Rocket, Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga, and Menopause Yoga. Her teaching places particular emphasis on inclusivity and adapting the practice to each body, age, and life experience. Originally from Belgium and living on Lesvos since 2019, Léo is a devoted lover of Greek culture and a passionate Ashtanga practitioner. He enjoys sharing this discipline with his students, alongside more creative practices such as Vinyasa and gentler styles like Yin Yoga.
More than just a yoga retreat, this week is an invitation to reconnect with yourself through the elements: the sea, the wind, the sun, and the wild landscapes of Lesvos. In this inspiring environment, yoga becomes a space for transformation, presence, and union — with yourself, with others, and with nature.
Through the week’s practices and cultural discoveries, you will also be immersed in the richness of Greek culture and traditions, while exploring the philosophy of yoga from a fresh perspective.
Each day, you will have the opportunity to enjoy two in-depth yoga practices in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Villa Daphne & Chloe, a beautifully restored century-old building that now serves as a hotel and retreat center. Yoga classes will take place either indoors or outdoors, in a covered practice space nestled among the olive trees, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Lesvos.
To complement the yoga classes, we will offer a series of theoretical and practical workshops, allowing you to explore aspects of yoga that go beyond what is typically taught in regular studio classes, including meditation, pranayama, kriyas, mudras, mantras, advanced postures, and more.
To help you discover Lesvos and Greek culture, the program also includes three outings to local tavernas, a visit to the traditional thermal baths, a guided tour exploring the island’s history, and a Greek cooking class.
All activities are optional, as this retreat is first and foremost a well-deserved break for you. The schedule therefore includes plenty of free time to relax, read, enjoy the sea and the island’s natural beauty, and reconnect with yourself.

Léo, a certified yoga teacher, is passionate about movement, adventure, and the transformative power of yoga. His journey began in 2016, when yoga became an escape from the pressures of urban life and the demands of a stressful career. The practice soon evolved into a transformative path that not only helped him navigate difficult periods but also brought him strength and resilience. In 2021, Léo decided to deepen his knowledge by completing an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher training in Andalusia.
His teaching style blends elements of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Hot Yoga into a balanced and dynamic practice. As a passionate climber, Léo also incorporates his love of climbing and hiking into the retreats he leads, and his approach to teaching yoga is deeply influenced by his travels and connection to nature. More recently, he completed training in mindfulness, both out of personal interest and to better guide his students toward greater inner peace.
His enduring love for Greece, and especially for Lesvos, where he spent his childhood summers, reflects the deep connection he feels with this island — a place he looks forward to sharing with you.
With over 15 years of yoga practice, Elsa decided to deepen her understanding of yoga philosophy and its benefits for both body and mind by completing a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training in Brussels in 2019. Since then, she has gone on to train and teach other styles of yoga, including Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga, and Menopause Yoga.
Alongside yoga and a daily meditation practice, Elsa enjoys a wide range of sports and firmly believes that training the mind is just as important as training the body. For her, cultivating both helps reduce stress, build confidence, improve focus, and foster a deep sense of grounding and wellbeing.
Drawing on her experience teaching yogis of different ages and levels, Elsa has developed a clear, supportive, and educational approach that emphasizes breath, interoception, deep core strengthening, alignment, and joint mobility. She always adapts her classes to the needs and experience of her students, encouraging each person to explore their own sensations rather than focusing on performance, appearance, or achieving the “perfect” pose.
