Pregnancy is a time of profound transformation in a woman's life, marked by significant physical and emotional changes. Throughout the workshop, Elsa will share practical techniques from yoga — breathing exercises, meditation, and adapted yoga postures — to promote stress management, emotional balance, and alleviate common physical discomforts during pregnancy.
Guided moments of reflection and a speaking circle will also be offered, offering a calm, respectful and caring environment to reconnect with yourself, your baby and other future mothers.

Based in Brussels, Elsa is yoga teacher and founder of the YOGAZAZ teaching method. She has been teaching since 2020 and specializes in Menopause Yoga, Pre/Postnatal Yoga, and also teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Rocket Yoga. Her didactic and caring approach focuses on mindfulness, breathing, interoception, deep muscle strengthening, joint alignment and mobility. Elsa also sees and uses Yoga as a way to support women in the transitional periods of their lives — pregnancy, postpartum, menopause — so that everyone can live their daily lives peacefully, mindfully, and with self-confidence.
Elsa will facilitate the workshop “Perimenopause: taming your inner fire and welcoming change through Yoga for Menopause”
The Yoga for Menopause, created by Petra Coveney in the United Kingdom, is a holistic approach designed to support women during (peri) menopause, offering them simple, effective and accessible tools to get through this period of transformation. It offers a positive and integrative vision of this stage of life, perceived not as an end, but as a bio-psycho-socio-spiritual transition towards a profound renewal.
Trained directly by Petra, Elsa will share during this workshop scientific information and simple techniques from Yoga for Menopause that promote a reduction in stress and inflammation. Through adapted yoga postures and guided breathing, relaxation, and mindfulness exercises, the objective is to act directly on the nervous system to reduce certain symptoms of (peri) menopause such as hot flashes, night sweats, night sweats, anxiety, or sleep disorders. The workshop will also address the subject of the fear of change that characterizes the perimenopause phase through a confidential and caring circle, to promote reconnection to oneself and to other women.
The “Breathe and Thrive” workshop is open to all pregnant women - whether you are new to yoga or regular practitioners - but the agreement of your doctor is necessary in order to participate in this workshop or more generally in a physical activity such as yoga. You do not need to be a member of Yoga Room to participate in this workshop.

The workshop is available whenever you want, unless otherwise specified by your health professional. If in doubt, do not hesitate to ask your doctor or midwife for advice.
No No previous experience is required. The proposals are adapted to pregnancy and alternatives are always offered.
