This gentle and meditative yoga class is open to everyone — beginners, seniors, and pregnant and postpartum women are welcome. Yin Yoga is a slow practice that focuses on deeply stretching joints and connective tissues, such as ligaments and fascias. Unlike more dynamic styles like Hatha or Vinyasa, Yin focuses on immobility, letting go, and mindfulness.

The postures are mainly performed on the ground and held passively between 3 and 5 minutes. This prolonged support allows the connective tissues to stretch deeply, while the muscles remain relaxed. Participants are invited to focus on breathing, body awareness, and sensations throughout the practice, thus developing patience and acceptance.

Yin Yoga also promotes blood circulation, flexibility and joint mobility. It is also a powerful practice for calming the mind, reducing stress and anxiety, and regaining inner balance.
